Elena Panciera

Elena Panciera was born in Vicenza in 1978. In 2005, she lived in Milan, where she had the chance to spend some time with young musicians and writers. In that period, she published short stories on “Dafne”, a magazine run in her hometown. The following year, she published a short story in the collection “femmine” (ed. Delos Books). In the same year, she attended Fabio Fracas’ MacAdam. She went back to writing in 2014, when she wrote the screenplay for “il commissario Maretti”, fiction broadcasted by local channels whose actors were invited on Raidue by Giancarlo Magalli and on Channel Five by Barbara D’Urso.

In 2015, she started her personal blog, “La Panciera Rosa, il paese del degrado e del disagio”, which focuses on the excesses of everyday life with a touch of irony. Up to date, it has been visited more than 25000 times. Between 2015 and 2016 she wrote short stories to be published in Vicenza Vogue.

She works as a coordinator in one of the offices of a multinational corporation where, each and every day, she finds irony and humour in every complaint.
