Patrizia Biaggini

Patrizia Biaggini was born in La Spezia in 1960. She lives and works as a teacher in Sarzana. Once she obtained her degree in Philosophy and once she finished her studies at the Fine Arts Academy, she dedicated her life to aesthetics and literature. In particular, she explored humour and everything related to it.

She has written essays and reviews on art magazines and catalogues.

In 2003, she published “Lo sguardo su di sé. Zeno e l’umorismo della coscienza” with ETS’ philosophical series. With Arcipelago Edizioni, she published in 2010 “Cedere il passo ed altri dilemmi, un’esperienza di pratica dialogica” and in 2011 “Il riso e la pietà. Testi letterari come luoghi di riflessione”.

From 2006 to 2009, she was trained by Phronesis (the Italian Association for Philosophical Consultation) and she later helped them organise conferences, laboratories and researches – both for adults and students – related to the exploration and analysis of images and suggestions linked to the artistic and literary world.

In 2008, she majored in Philosophy for Children and Community at the University of Florence.
